Bayern Munich captain Manuel Neuer has officially signed a one-year contract extension, committing his future to the newly crowned Bundesliga champions until June 2027.

The legendary 40-year-old goalkeeper was approaching the end of his previous deal, but this renewal ensures his historic stay in Bavaria will stretch into a 16th season.
Under the new agreement, Neuer has accepted a restructured salary and will increasingly share the workload to mentor 22-year-old rising star Jonas Urbig.
While the veteran will facilitate a smooth transition for his long-term successor, manager Vincent Kompany remains heavily reliant on Neuer’s elite, world-class abilities in high-stakes matches.
